Boston's Best Chimney, Saves the Day!

Back in November of 2013, Saint Mary’s Church right here in Waltham, had a carbon monoxide leak during a morning CCD class.

Boston’s Best Chimney went over to Saint Mary’s Church to see exactly what was going on and what had to be done to ensure it won’t happen again.
Upon visually inspecting the flue we noted that the flue venting the furnace was unlined and deteriorating throughout. Boston’s Best recommended relining the flue with stainless steel.
What will this liner do?
Exhaust the gases from the boiler.

Last week, BBC installed the liner that was recommended!
This chimey is quite large and a manlift was needed to gain access to the top of the chimney.

Having carbon monoxide detectors is a MUST especially in buildings where children come in and out almost everyday. Remember Carbon Monoxide detectors save lives!
